find one at the junkers... pick up your 5 speed while you're there. They don't really make aftermarket rear ends... they rebuild them. Your local tranny shop might be able to help you out... unless you have $2G lying around to get one from the dealership. No powertrain warrenty when you...

And you checked your battery-to-body ground, and your block-to-body ground. Can you post a good pic of your plugs. Before you worry about your timing belt, swap out your ignition rotor (wouldn't hurt anyways.)

I've got a E30 325i sitting in my driveway that throws a code for the MAF, and o2 sensor, and it runs fine... even if it was the MAF, it would still runs smooth regardless if it was running rich. There seems to be either a timing issue or a spark issue, because the fuel isn't burning like it...

I would be tempted to rip the sills right off, break all the tabs and spend the money on new tabs and strips. Make 'er look tight! Right from the showroom.! 3 cams Joseph? You must have 5 valves per cylinder.

Joseph, I think he's more worried about getting it back under without making it look like a half-ass job. (A lot of people don't know this, but the M20 actually has 2 cams, and the vavles are self adjusting!)
