yeah, there's like 8 or 9 BMW dealerships around Toronto, from Whitby to Oakville, surely they'll have every colour on the market... or if not, they'll have paint samples up on the wall or at least on paper. I've always found GTA dealers to be a bunch of pricks, but I've had a good experience...

At this point, most of them need new suspension... and the age almost doesn't matter any more... You're almost better off finding one with quite a few miles on it, as all the parts that fail will have been replaced already (clutch, or tranny). I always look for rust first... anything...

I don't think I can get any thinner than 3mm... (the sketchy part would be if I removed them all together, and cut my springs). I love the way your wheels fit in your arches... I'm only running 15"s... your's are 17" and look sweet. I was kinda looking for a quick fix, instead of buying lower...

Intrax springs... 1.5" drop if I remember correctly... I'm using brand new spring pads (3mm), but there was nothing actually wrong with the originals. I've thought about taking the pads out, but I might as well cut the springs while I'm at it. Sketchy.

Does anyone still manufacture 10mm deeper upper front spring cups for E30's? I think I need to scrape my oil pan... the front doesn't look close enough to the ground. I know BMP used to have them, but I can't find them on their website... any one else?

I don't think I've ever noticed a difference between the two, but I think I'd rather have a wood splinter than a fiberglass splinter.

Next time you take it out, get a whole used used instrument cluster and swap out the tach to keep your odometer, and be done with it. If the thing works properly, you're good, if it doesn't, it's your wiring... If it weren't for the fact that it works when you touch it, I'd think your SI board...
