I don't know if its the same as on a E30 (your car is an E36)... the E36 board might help you more than us.

You might just have the wrong part to begin with.

Never had a problem starting my 318ic for any extended period of time... the only time I had trouble starting it, I played with the relay, and banged my fist on the back seat where the pump is, and that fixed the problem... never had a problem since. So, it was either the pump or the relay.

Nice, a fine example! I'm always keeping my eye out for one of those for sale. Somebody took good care of the body, either that it's been resprayed.

What needle? The needles just pop off, and then you jam them back in. Which needle are you having trouble with?

Okay, I just lowered my E30 by myself a few months ago (no pics yet). I had never really done shocks before. Rears you can do with your eyes shut. Just change the upper mount and paper gasket and you're good to go. The fronts... I undid the swaybar link mounting nut underneath the control...

Tight. Looks awesome.

Got the same problem myself...... to far down to the list of jobs to worry about it at this point.

No gas (fuel pump), no spark (bad coil)? Did it stop running while you were driving it, or is it just not starting after you turned it off?
