Super easy job... Just jack the car up, safety stands, and it's right above the drive shaft... just unclip the little clips, slide it out and replace... couldn't be more straight forward. Might want to grease it up a bit too.

There really is no ONE manual for your car... All the manuals that cover e30's don't have anything on the M42 engine... so you have to go buy the e36 manual too.
