Hi I am planing to buy new rims (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...tem=7952004468&category=43958&sspagename=WDVW) They are manaray 18' whith 5 X 120 W/A 35MM OFFSET. I am lost!!! I don't know what tire size to buy! I am thinking of buying 225/40/18 in the front and 245/35/18 in the rear. Do you know if This will fit? Or can I get any biger size? I have a stok suspention now, but planing to go whith H&R sport springs. I don't whant to rol my fenders. Oh, yehh and I drive 98' 328i.

im running 225/40/18 tyres and have it lowered and they do touch on the inner arch on full lock bmw sell rack stops that limits the movement of the rack. the tyres also touch the top of the arch as long as u dont lower it loads u should be ok it only touches on big bumps mainly on the front so if u can i reacon run 225/35 profile tyres all round.they are very nice wheels
oh and for tires its all what you want to spend. I had Potenza S-03's and now have Yokohama ES100's. obviosly my s-03's were a bit more money, and i could tell. a lot more quiet and better overall. the es100's are grippy as hell in warm dry and warm wet, but lack the all around gluey-ness of the s-03's. those are the only two tires i've had. i almost got proxe TS-1's wish i had now, i heard they are real nice. but the summer after next i will probalby go with a Michelin Pilot, and new Bridgetsone, or maybe a cheap Kuhmo and plan on two sets for a summer and just burn through them.
well i've heard of people using a heat gun and a baseball bat, but i used a fender rolling tool i rented from kuala motorsports. you just bolt the tool to the hub and adjust the pitch of the rolling wheel and go back and forth slowing on your fender. heat gun is recommended, but i didn't use one so i just went extra slow and it was fine.
