Seats for my 99 323ic

I have to replace the front and rear leather seats in my 1999 323i convertible.

I am not sure if it is an E36 or E46, as there is a little confusion for the convertibles. I think the 1999 convertible was actually on a E36 platform. Am I correct?

Can anyone tell me if the seats from a 2002 BMW 330XI will fit in my 1999 323i convertible.

What year and model seats will fit my car?

I am pretty sure you are right that the 1999 convertible is an E36. There's some info at http://home.earthlink.net/~frankie66/cars/bmw_changes.html but i couldn't find anything definitive even on bmwboard.com.
try calling the local BMW parts department as to what will fit.
good luck with the seat upgrade. i would like to upgrade to the E46 for the glass rear window, steering wheel audio controls, etc. etc.
