Performance chip on Ebay

Hey all, been awhile since I've written. I have a question about the Viper2 Performance chip being sold on ebay. Can anyone tell me how good it is, any of the specs, or give me any kind of positive credit on the chip itslef. The seller says they are very reliable, he is currently a programer for audi, Bmw and worked for porche... Just want to know what peoples opinions are on the chip before buying. And also, looking for an ignition coil, and specs for my 1993 BMW 318 IS. (HP, Torque, all the good stuff. Want to get it dynoed) THanks, James

Chips dont work after a new upgrade is installed. The firmware is readonly. Get the chip last. Unless you get the reprogrammable one, which good ones arent usually found on ebay.

I saw the viper 2 chips on eBay and from what the guy says he seems to make a pretty good chip. They do custom burnt chips for you as well depending on what kind of mods you have. After I am finished installing the rest of my bolt-on's I think I'll give them a try.
