Old Mini's

I've always liked the older Mini Coopers. Maybe just because of the classic look, or the cheaper price. How much can you find them for? Or can you even find them in the US?

oh ya, that one in the Bourne Identity hauled some butt. And sounded very good. Which also reminds me.... are the stock engines (assuming it's in good shape) powerful at all? I've always imagined them to be somewhat like a 70's VW 4 cylinder....very slow, but could have good potential for future upgrades...

you can find them. Try ebay or autotrader. I know some are out there and many of them are fully restored

You can definitely modify the engines. Keep in mind that the old Mini Coopers were great rally cars!
