Why the hell would bmw and chrysler build the motor!! that is just (((((NOT RIGHT))))))
i drove a pt gt in drivers ed and that motor is a crap it sounds like a house fan........
i will never buy a mini

And what is wrong with chrysler? Aparently they built a decent engine with bmw becuase it's gotten excellent reviews. You really look ignorant. Technically, the Mini is not a BMW becuase it does not have the BMW logo on it. BUT it was developed and produced by bmw.
why do you read auto week you should read motor trend there much better
so the new rolls is not a bmw ehh!! only bmw built the thing and it has the 760li motor
bmw is to mini as mercedes is to chrysler ::yes they are owned by each other but the chrysler motors are crap compared to the mercedes motors

Hitman, the Chrysler/BMW collaborative was established just before Daimler's aquisition of Chrysler. It doesn't share any componentry with the Neon or PT 2.0 engine, although thats not a bad engine at all! The Mini's built in Brasil.
So many people can't get over this stuff.. I can't believe it. What makes BMW's engineering so superior? These guys designing engines get fired/hired all the time from one company to another, the technology's all the same. If it has 16 valves it has 16 valves.

What the hell is wrong with liking other cars/car companies?? I'd take a porsche 911 GT2 over a BMW any day. Being so against EVERY other car and car company is being IGNORANT. So STFU and wake up. BMW is not the only decent car company out there. I see more old chrysler minivans on the road than old bmw's.

((( have you seen the long teerm test of the mini s in road and track!!! the plastic came of the a pillar and the seat broke all in only 7,000 miles!!!!!!!
