yea, or he could've fallen into a fire, or he could've forgotten about this post (since he's posted about 50 times since he started this topic), or maybe he's been busy working.

according to j2azz it is not impossible that the grid goes down again as it is very instable and fragile after that huge blackout. anyone in that area experienced a new power shortage? that would be interesting to know, at least for me [paranoid]

so the new rolls is not a bmw ehh!! only bmw built the thing and it has the 760li motor
I am not disputing that the Rolls doesn't have the 760 engine, but at least BMW went to the effort of enlarging it to 6.75 litres; to keep in with Rolls Royce’s tradition of the last few generations.
It technically isn't the same engine.[hihi]

As far as the John Cooper Works kit, it's around $5000, but the HP difference is noticable. Very noticable in the upper RPM's, not so much as far as torque is concerned. Still, that's a lot of cash man!

The John Cooper Works tuning kit costs $4,500 for a 37hp increase (200hp total) from Mini Cooper S stock. It is not worth its price at all...you can go to a Mini tuning web site, and you can get 210hp out of a stock Mini Cooper S from a kit costing $2,000. John Cooper Works is a fool.

not a bimmer eh

k the new mini is one of the nicest cars ive ever seen redone, and as far as the motor and the quality of the car goes it is awsome, someone i know bought the cooper s it is wicked. the motor is awsome and ive been told that chrysler was helping with it so they could use it in the pt cruiser, and bmw didnt want to pay for a new powerplant model ,soo they looked for people that would help them with the money situation cuz they werent going to make a motor for one fffin car so all chrysler did was say yah that looks good, thats it, and they gave bmw money to do it ... now if the motor was not sufficient bmw wouldnt have put the motor in the car .... another was to say bmw is, quality .. soo i dont think chryslers help in the motor is relevant. Every part on that car is all made by bmw or designed by them, and i dont know why ur comparing a porsche in a bmw forum, they arent even in the same class its like apples to oranges, one is completely race inspirired, and one is luxury and sport, and as far as lamans goes, how each company does is completely irrelevent compared to what they put out for cars .. if that were true then the penzoil car for nascar would have bit the dust a long time ago.[?|] [fake]

The Mini Information is very Wrong. It is a BMW engine only some stupid dumb a$$ will write that kind of information. Chrysler maybe supplyed some hoses and they are saying now its developed with Chrysler. Forget that. It is a wrong info!

Wadula your info about those porsche cars are not right.

The GT 2 has a time of 3.67s from 0 to 60mph.[rofl]
