Recently I picked up a e28 5 series bimmer for $100 (got the 2.8 m30), and I'm using it as a parts car for my e30.
Was thinking about changing the motor into my car but I'm still not sure.
besides the point anyways.
The e28 has an electric sunroof, my e30 has a manual sunroof, so i wanna swap but im not sure if it will fit.
I looked up realOEM.com to find that the electric motors in both the e28 and e30 have the same parts numbers but the rails and other parts in the sunroof are not the same at all.
So my question is, will this swap work? does anybody have a link to point me in the direction of how it is done? I've searched the web, nothing.
