I don't think they were ever here. My lease ends in one year and I am looking into a MINI as well. Cooper S is the only way to go, but the options and configurations are endless!
The Cooper S Convertible is very nice too, but way too girly for most guys?

I would like mine to be fully loaded, around $35K or so. I want all the packages, leather, navigation, etc. as well as the Aero Kit, Driving Lights, and 17" BBS Wheels as pictured in the MINI Cooper below (photo jacked from miniusa.com), but in Cooper S form and black paint.

That would be awesome if you two get Minis. If I wasn't in the market to get a home, I would most certainly join you guys.

Emile, do you have any news if they are planning on a refresh or redesign anytime soon on the Mini?

Hey Big D if you're looking for the ultimate Cooper S then I would seriously consider the BBR (Brodie Brittain Racing) version. It's got a 307BHP (yes that's correct!) turbocharged engine and the best bit is that it looks just like a regular S. More impressive is the torque, 313lb ft.

There are literally hundreds of Mini tuners but this one is the maddest and baddest. 0-100km/h in 5.9 seconds!!!

You gotta be kidding me? 6 seconds to 60 for 300hp and Torque in a 2300lb car like the mini.... I think you mean 4.9 seconds or even less??? [confused]

BMW gets that out of the 235hp 3300lb perf package 330i...

Chesty, are you sure about that 0-100 km/h time buddy? The John Cooper Works package for the Cooper S (207hp) does 0-60 in 6.3 seconds so I'd imagine that 300hp would be in the low 5-second range.
