Quick question for you guys.
I recently hit a deer with my 2002 325i. Dammit! [?|]

They are about to order parts to fix my car, and I was thinking about having them replace the front bumper with an E46 M3 bumper instead.. Just to have a customized look.
I've seen this done with a 325ci, but never with the sedan.

What do you guys think? The body shop already said it would be easy, and the BMW dealer concurred.. So I guess it works cleanly, but was wondering on your opinions on whether is would look crappy or not..

thanks, and watch out for deer..

I've seen it done on a sedan and it looks pretty good. If you like the front-end style of an M3 then by all means go for it.

i'm not sure if it's the exact kit as the m3 bumper, but if anything it'll end up looking like the current 330i zhp, or perf package fronts.

the bumper and the air intake grill w/ the fog lights transforms the car from nice, to dayam!! might need to match rest of the body w/ proper skirts and such to even it out, but you'll have to see i guess.

the front bumper, u can get a BMW original...

mine is a 318i "sport" apparently..

comes with the sport seats...9 inch M rear rims and 8 inch fronts..255 on rear and 235 on front
and a M front bumper, skirts and rear bumper...except theres space to fit only 2 tailpipes instead of the m3's 4..

erm and a host of other stuff but visually, thats abt it

M-tech makes one that is used on the ZHP and looks like the M3 bumper. Those who have done an actual M3 conversion say it's actually not that easy. Requires some modifications and is apparently not a simple bolt on process like the M-Tech kit is.

NZL: 17inch yeah...

when i said different sizes front and back, i meant track sizes...meaning 8 and 9 inches across..

the back being deeper dish rims.:)

and yeahh...thats my exact car...except its in sapphire black and etc..those are the rims..

the rears are deeper than the front being wider...

Nice one k3n... though next time I reckon I'll go for the 325. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for yours?
