E46 grilles on E36?

can anyone tell me if the grilles from an E46 will fit onto an E36?

No. I had my E36 and E46 sitting side by side today while I was washing them. The grilles are VERY different in shape and size.

i see, i just taught they looked similar, i would've liking the fully chrome ones from the E46 on mine, thanks lads

I believe someone is making full chrome grilles for E36's, but I am not sure, I will look into it.

Here is a link to a "Chrome Grille" on eBay. I have no knowledge of this item, nor the seller. I can tell you some of these guys are selling "chrome" plastic slats that you cut and fit over the black slats, I do not know about this on. You might "ask the seller a question" before buying. Remember "Buyer beware". Good luck!
