Hey,

I really like the MINI and I spend a lot of time on the miniusa.com web site (don't ask), and I came across this interesting contract regarding the MINI Cooper Convertible and MINI Cooper S Convertible. It seems MINI is quite serious about drop-top motoring.

Also, if you try to build a MINI Cooper (or Cooper S) Convertible, this contract does pop up before you can start configuring your MINI, and you MUST agree to it. Definitely funny and interesting, but I think they're serious. [fake]

I saw the contract when the mini ragtop was first introduced - it was bound in Motor Trend. Really funny stuff, Mini is very serious about having fun! I really dig the Minis.

Great laugh. The sad part is that you just know someone is going to be offended by BMW's "sexist" tone and just make some type of stink over nothing.

Its where this country seems to be heading - we cannot even laugh at ourselves without risk of offending some think tank nazis who smugly believe they somehow know whats best for 286 million Americans who call this great land home.

Very true, jsevd. At the very least, we do have the right to freedom of speech.

Is MINI serious about drop-top driving in 32 F weather or higher? I know some people like to roadster around (top down) in 40 degrees or higher, but 32 degrees is freaking cold!!
