That's an old article. Out of those four, I would take the 330Ci. The CLK430 is a very close second, though.

I'd take the CLK430 hands down.












Then sell it, buy a new 330Ci and use whatever money I have left to mod it. Or just get an M3 if I got enough for the Merc.

I think the article was kind of biased to tell you the truth towards the Germans. They bitched about how the Acura didn't come in a manual transmission and either did the Benz but they didn't make a fuss over that! I think the BMW was the best there too, but their presentation seemed a little biased towards BMW....

the auto tranny thing, they say that the benz auto held the gears when needed, and shifted when needed, unlike most auto trannys that have a mind of their own..

i like the clk 430 convert, but for that money, i'd take the m. that's a weird comparo, esp w/ the benz being out of its class.. (but they did explain it) i hate how car prices at the end gets weighed to select the winner, but i suppose if something's gonna cost a whole bunch more than another, there should be a good reason for it right?
