I recently purchased my 2nd used BMW. This one is a 318is coupe.
There is a problem though. The shifting in the Automatoc Trasmission seems to be messed up. It stays on 1st gear too long. Especially when I give the gas pedal a more harder step. It does not shift until the Tachometer reaches 4 rpm. Sometimes it even feels like it stays in neutral between 1st and 2nd gear.
After this though, it's smooth sailing. This happens occasionally. Not all the time. Do I obviously have a transmission problem? Or do I just have to see maybe I need to add transmission fluid?
