can anyone tell me if the grilles from an E46 will fit onto an E36?

it's just at the wiring thats visible when you take off the cover under the backseat, if i simply move the wires a certain way i can hear the pump stops working and then i move it back and it starts again, so i have tape holding it in a position now, the car does be lazy starting now sometimes...

i need to replace the wiring on my fuel pump (if the wires are moved the pump cuts out) but now it takes a bit longer to start and sometimes won't start at all unless i mess about with the wires a bit, would i be better off replacing the pump aswell?

my 1994 318iS has 117k on it now, bought it at 106k one year ago, drives like a dream, bushings might need replacing if they haven't been recently on the b.m your looking at, other then that they don't seem to cause much, 100k is nothing to a b.m
