Does your car also have self leveling suspension? I don't think the temp change is really that drastic. I see temperature fluctuation between -4 and +104 degrees farenheit where I live, and I don't have these problems. How many different brands of fluid have you tried?

This is what owning an E30 is all about. If you want to know of it's the fuel pump, pull the line off in front of the fuel filter, and see if it primes. Pretty simple fix, and there will be problems in the future.
