Style 137 Wheels for 325 xi with SP

Hey Group,

I dunno about you but wheels are real important to me. They can make or break a car.
Anyway, when upgraded to sports package, a 2004 325 xi comes with 17" style 137 wheels.
ANyone know about these rims? Are they cool? Please advise.

I was really happy to see the new wheels. Not only more aggressive looking, in my opinion, but a hell of a lot easier to clean than those jet turbine wheels on the 2003 SP. I also have a 2004 3325xi coming, though the delivery process is taking forever. Check out the link below for all the BMW wheel styles.

Hey thanks Snow. Yeah, style 137 looks good to me. I too hate those rims with like 20 fins.
Theyre a bitch to clean and just dont appeal to me. I do like the 5 or 7 spoke look. Cargo tracking says my 325 xi has been discharged in NY. Im also getting the runaround from the dealer. God only knows whats happening with the friggin car. Wont be long now, though.....

Wheels cleaners are an opinion based subject -

But I have had great results with a "true" spray on - hose off product.

Turtle wax....wheel /brake dust cleaner, safe for all wheels & it works great !!

my gf has a 2004 325xi on the way, only premium package, not sp so she gets the 7 spokes (forget the style number). i'm not really impressed with these rims, i think they look really dull and boring... like you, i think rims can make or break a car.

what are the chances of getting them upgraded by the dealer (the car is at the vpc already, not ordered to spec)? do they do that at all or is that a no-no? what would the cost be?
