Radio Code

I got the code from the BMW dealer and the radio refuses to accept it. I've tried all the advice to "unlock' the radio, ie; switch on position 1 for 5 hours, disconnect the battery, etc. all to no avail. The BMW dealer suggests a new radio, says this happens occasionally. Any ideas would be welcomed.

this hapened to me

this happened to me. the code jsut wouldnt work. but ur bmw dealershiip should be able to unlock it manually, they charged me 40$ for that.

ttlpkg1 I have a 1995 325IC same problem had the had unit replace. My car went in for svc and the radio never work. Try the key in position 1 had Elec/Tech go into the radio nothing dealer replace the head unit.
