Okay deep breath....
Car: 95 325i
Situation: I took my car up to the family machanic to have the driver side door panel replaced, it had completely fallen off. Then I also had him flush the tranny while he had it because it was shifting hard.
Before: The car doesn't have an alarm but the light flashes when the car is off as if it does have an alarm.
Problem 1. The radio will not accept the code for my car and will not work now. I called the dealership they told me, turn the car on to accesory leave the key in and the radio on for one hour and then try the code again, its almost been an hour not quite yet...
Problem 2. The alarm light no long flashes when the car is off but it flashes when the car is on and you turn the radio alarm on.
Neither one of these problems are right. does anyone have a clue what to do or what is going on. Another small note, he let me know when he went to pull my car in the garage after i dropped it off that next morning is was COMPLETELY dead not one ounce of juice. I don't think I left anything on in the car but I may have. Could this of in anyway affect the problems that I am having now?
the guy who worked on the car said he didn't touch anything that would make my car do this and to call the dealer, which i did any it doesn't sound like I am going to be getting much help from them unless I take the car into them.
