Question on strange Beep.?

Hi you all.
I have a problem,1998 328is, E36 with Automatic/Trip tronic.

I start the car drive away,and about 1/4 mile [driving2] i keep hearing these strange beep beep sound,these beep's are not too loud seem to be coming from under the dash on the left side,and they only comes when i start and drive away,
after the two beep's they go away. Am just worried that this beep is some kind of warning,can you Guys help.

Just want to thank you,m going to try the memo on the obc,but is there some kind of order that i need to follow? or do i just start the car and push memo.

how cold is it? If it is under 37 your car will tell you and beep

There is also a tone indicaton at 60kmh and i think 80kmh on the speedo, this does seem to come from under the steering wheel and is very faint, (different to the trip computer) check that out
