on board check swap

I want to upgrade my on board check control with one that has the extra readouts. I have seen them with the km counter, fuel count down, fuel avg etc.
Does anyone know if the harness is prewired for eitherstock or the optional upgrade?

its not, you would have to do it yourself, buy the obc 18button(one) with a 18button harness and then do the rewiring ( 1-2h of work )

Thanks so much Tom. i have some auto wiring background and will attemp the conversion, now I know to get the harness as well.

Now, do you know if all e-36 models were pre-wired for the factory alram?
