Sad, story. We were just about finished with my son's 1990 325i. Rebuilt motor and new paint. He was driving along and was T-boned by a new driver. Totally her fault but the insurance company only would give him $1650 (and the car) even though we showed them $3K of recent receipts.

Anyway, the reason I am writing is it now will not start. There is no power to the main power relay, thus no power to the fuel pump. Everything else seem fine. I have heard of American cars that will drop power to the fuel pumps after an impact and need to be reset. But I can't find anything in the manuals anywhere.

We are using the Bentley Service Manual which has been very good, but there aren't any schematics that cover that main power relay circuit. If anybody has any better schematics I would love to see them.

Just checked, there also is no spark. Is it possible the impact fried something else?

Thanks guys, I hope you can help up out.
