In need f quick response

I have a 318i and am in the process of doing a motor swap for a 325 w/vanos that i got from a friend for free. The motor is not finished being rebuilt. My radiator on my 318 cracked and is leeking water bad. i dont want to go and buy a 318 radiator to then buy a 325 radiator. will the 325 radiator work with my 318 motor. And could you guys send any pics you have of the radiator setup in a 325 so i can compare. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated

It may work OK in the cooler temps that you should now be seeing.

My concerns are;
1. The flow through the radiator. The coolant may not flow at the same rate through the 325 radiator as it would the 318 radiator hooked up to the 318 motor. Dunno if this is a valid concern.

2. The connections. I haven't looked at a 318 in a while, but I'm almost positive that the hose connections could be a PITA.

Why not hit a junkyard for a used 318 radiator? Hopefully it would be cheap enough.

The 325 radiator should work - a larger radiator won't hurt your car. (if it is larger).

thanks you guys. the prob i am running into now is that the 325 radiator does not have a coolant reservoir on it and now i will need to go and buy one of them. And i did chack the junkyards by me and they still wanted 150 for the radiator. i bought the new 325 radiator for 180. now i just hope it works. By the way do you guys know of any junkyards for BMW other then vines and one called martineto here in miami. i dont care if it is in florida or not. anywhere would be ok.
