Hi! I am looking for some advice concerning the subject. Recently, I was tuning my 2002 and in order to gauge the point gap, repeatedly 'tapped' the ignition key to rotate the distributor camshaft. I adjusted them two times. The first adjustment came quickly as the camshaft was in the correct position. The second effort, however, required a repeated tapping of the ignition switch to 'starting' position to get the camshaft in the correct place. I feel this led to my problem.
I no longer have a spark coming from my HT lead out of my coil. The coil has been replaced and the condenser is showing infinite resistance which means its ok.
Can anyone give advice as to what I might look for and/or test? I see a 'Timing switch' which is wired right from the ignition and a set of relays near my voltage regulator. I am wondering if these may be problem spots, but am having problems finding info on the 'timing switch' box.
Thanks for the help!
