I would want a Mini Cooper S with the Panorama Sunroof and John Cooper Works tuning (200hp) if nobody saw me driving it.
I couldn't imagine blasting Rage Against The Machine with the windows down in a Mini !!

I rode in one recently....it was kinda weird...2 moonroofs? and I wasn't into the big gauge in the center of the dash...looks like a big wall clock. It was cool being in there tho...it was like swerving in and out....awesome...

Hahaha, nice. Yeah, I agree, I hate the speedometer in the middle of the dash, but if you get the Navigation system, it puts everything back above the steering wheel (and navi screen goes in the middle).

my family has 2 minis not bad fun to drive but once youve tackled every turn in the county and 4x's the speed limit the fun is over, My grandfathers is actully pretty cool, nice coil-overs, worked on by ProMini and some other tuner I forget the name now.

I want to drive one, as long as nobody sees me whipping it. I have always liked the front of the new Mini Cooper, but it looks kinda poor from the side and overall size is just embarrassing. But then again, I'm a small guy (5'7"), so maybe it's not so bad.

I really have nothing against Minis, someone at the place I work said that sometime I can drive their 6spd Cooper S.

bahnstormer, I know it handles mad nice...better than an M3, even...but how many guys would take a Mini Cooper S over an M3?
I'd be embarrassed to drive it because the thing is so small, Mini drivers look like a clown, putting around in their little go kart. I think the front looks hot and it could be hot, but the small size makes me puke.

I bought my "min" a long time ago.....except I had to build mine

The new mini isnt so "mini" and weighs far too much....motor options are limited as is power potential after tuning....better off buyng an M coupe

A brand new high 15/low 16 sec mini or a used low 14 sec M coupe....

Not a tough decision and the M has a MUCH higher performance envelope

Good point, QuickCivicGuy, but power isn't everything. I think we would all appreciate the handling abilities that the Mini has to offer. And I think I would hate the homosexuality of it.

After seeing The Italian Job, I have a ridiculous amount of respect for that car now and I definitely think I would get one if it suited my price range. Your better off buying an older civic like mine if your into the performance aspects of a small fwd track machine

But if your into the "meep meep" cute factor the mini screams for attention from 16yr old girls

fwd performance can prob be nuts from a civic, BUT the interior/comfort
levels of the mini surpass it i think.
