Help - New tires for 2002 325xi

Hi All,
Well I now have 30,000 miles on my car and need new tires. Continental Conti's are totally worn out - heck I thought tires lasted longer than that but they are definitely worn out. Has anyone had good experience with replacing their tires? Can you recommend? BMW told me that the best tires are Michelin MXV4 or several different Bridgestones but I've seen varying reports on each of them. I'd rather here from some fellow BMW'ers. Thanks for any input. I use Cooper tires. I think they are one of the only brand of tires that are made in the US. Goodyear is the only other. My Cooper Lifeliners are great. All season and supposed to be a 60 or 70,000 mile tire. They handle great too.
