My car is not idling very well or performing to how it should its a 1992 bmw 320i J plate.
the idle is chuggy and the revs bounce a lot on some occasions when hot it takes 2 times to get it going meaning to start it up.
Ive changed all the sensors and it has done jack also had code reads but no errors and gone and cleaned everything in site looked for air leaks as well.
So I decided to give the ecu a look over, well the top circuit board seems fine no dirt no water damage.
but if I look underneath that being the bottom one i can see lots of dirt and what looks like white powder on the circuitry could this be residue left from dried up water hav I found my problem, at the mo I cant seem to get the screws off for the panel underneath so may hav to carefully drill them if so what should i clean it with.
thanks.
