330ci Ignition Coil Problems & Gear Shift "Shaking"

For about a month, when my car was cold, it felt as though the clutch was slipping a bit in first gear.
When I picked up the car the service advisor told me that the ignition coils had to be replaced and the car was actually misfiring. This seems tho have solved the problem. The invoice stated something about a "service bulletin" and "Replaced all coils from Brimi to Boch"

A New Concern:
When I accelerate in second (like when merging onto a highway)
the gear shift lever seems to be shaking more than I ever remember it. This seems to happen at around 2000 rpm.

Any Ideas?

Yes I have a very good idea...

STOP servicing the car at BMW of Manhattan... Their mechanics don't know what the heck they're doing, and will only cause your car MORE problems. I have found 3 people to verify this not including myself, and If I count you in that's 5.

BTW, my service appointment is this week at another dealer. GOODBYE BMW MANHATTAN!

Four days ago I went out to my car started it up and the thing was shaking like crazy. I thought that since i hadn't driven it in a day or so that it just needed a little wake up time so i drove it for all of about 10 feet and the shaking got a lot worse. So i stopped turned it off and back on and the service engine soon light came on. I called BMW and they told me to tow it in so it did just that. They called me yesterday telling me they had to replace my ignition coils because the car was misfiring. What is going on with these cars? Mine is a year old now and its NOTHING but problems

ignition coils at a year old?!?!? wtfizzle is what ihave to say. i'm surprised any of your cars started, as with faulty ignition coils that can be a big problem. they are about 60-80 bucks a pop, DIY and have a budyd reset the lights, thats if you know which cylinder

My car starts up weak..... and It shakes in idle.... Shakes like crazy on initial start up when its cold, and then if you rev it a little high and then stop for a light then u really feel it vibrating. Maybe it needs coils too I'll see what the dealer says Friday.

Mine is about a year old. I had the ignition coils replaced a month ago.
